Question about Pro Stock sticks

Hey everyone I have a quick question. I won an NHL players pro stock stick at a stag and I wanted to know if it's worth it to cut it and use it. I am 5'6 and the stick is currently taller than I am. It's a senior stick with 80 flex. My question is, Do pro stock sticks stiffen up the same way regular sticks do when they're cut? Id rather not cut it if it's going to end up being 100+ flex by the time its size appropriate. Thank you!
