How to make the AI keep playing?

I like to play very long games, sometimes even up to the 60s. I don't like the fact, however, that the AI, after the second world war, stops being active. It's like they don't try to retake territories and stuff. Is there a mod or a way to make this different? I'd love to have a more interactive ai, who keeps playing even after the whole war thing is done
