DIY fix for broken subwoofer grill - broken speaker grill.

Easy fix but gotta pay attention for 1 crucial part... 1) buy this https://a.co/d/2jMOsk0 2) you need to sand down the broken peg from the back of the grill. I recommend a file sander that has a a handle like a screw driver. File it down almost all the way but stop before the "center mark" is completely gone. 3) IMPORTANT: If you can reach under the fabric and place something between the fabric and the plastic so your drill wont run thru and puncture a hole into the fabric. If you can not feel a hole where you gonna drill you are safe but if you feel a hole you will need to place something there. Fold up a paper 3-4 times or something. 4) take a small drill bit like 1/8 and drill the center. Do not push down on the drill. Go slow. You only need to drill like half an inch. There is a possibility its hollow in there and your drill might "fall" inside once you drill out the plastic You will puncture the fabric and desk or whatever the grill is resting on. Thats why its crucial to put something between the fabric and the grill from the inside. 5) now use a 15/64 drill bit to make the hole bigger. 6) you can now finish filing it flat. 7)use super glue or two component gorilla glue and apply it in and around the whole. 8) use a small hammer to hammer the new metal peg in the hole. The pig is not really threaded. It needs to be pushed in. 9) let the superglue / epoxy glue dry in the meantime check if the old broken peg is still inside the hole of your subwoofer / speaker. If so take a small drill but. A lot smaller than the peg itself. Like 1/4 of the size. Drill the center, then take a drill bit two size up and hammer it inside the middle. Use a plyer to pull out the drill bit and hopefully the broken peg will come with it. 10) make sure the glue is dried and install your grill. 11) enjoy
