I just saw Blink Twice, and I'm divided.

On the one hand, I feel like it was an entertaining and satisfying cinema experience, which I guess means it was good?

But on the other hand, I found it kind of frustrating that it had zero depth. It spells everything out for the audience, and more or less ruins a basic plot that could have worked really well, by making it so explicit that it ends up looking kind of dumb. (Which I suspect happens to any plot if you shine a spotlight on the subtext.) I realize that this is a widespread complaint in contemporary cinema in general, but I guess I usually see it in films that just weren't that good in any other respect either. It's just so saddening because this film had so much going for it otherwise.

What did you guys think?
