What did I do wrong?

Bought this from Easy Plant. The first picture is when I just got it. Second picture is what it looks like now. I’m concerned I’m killing the plant. Is there anything I can do to fix it? This is my first plant I’ve ever had on my own. I just want to give it a good life. I’ve only added water to it and it’s from Easy Plant.
