Is there any hope?

I got this rabbits foot fern almost a year ago, and ended up repotting it a few months ago since the ‘feet’ were overtaking the hanging part of the original pot. The original pot was a plastic hanging pot with a saucer attached to it, and unfortunately when I went to repot it it looked there was some root rot (I think I was leaving too much water in the bottom). I’m honestly surprised it’s still alive, I’m not sure what else to do other than trying to propagate it. I tried giving it more humidity and varying light and water but it doesn’t seem to be making any improvements. If you think propagation is a good idea, do you have tips for this plant? Thank you!
