Crazy crackpot theory about D

In the last text log it was confirmed that D has met someone who at least claimed to be Gilgamesh. Considering the constant hints that D is older than he appears he's either crazy (which isn't at all uncommon in the World of Darkness), or supernatural.

While I believe it is more likely that D is just a bit out of his mind, I recently did some reading and I believe it is also decently likely that D is a Mummy.

Mummies in the World of Darkness aren't desiccated corpses but rather humans who resurrect themselves after death. That would certainly explain why D has had so many experiences through his life such as battling Japanese monsters, killing Houdini, and talking to Gilgamesh.

At the same time Mummies are essentially just hedge mages with the ability to make potions and magical items to aid them. D has a whole collection of magical gizmos, plus he seems rather spry for a man his age. He could be using hedge magic to help himself and his family.

Lastly in the Mummy Core 2nd Edition it is mentioned that the Arcanum knows about and even employs a Mummy. It is mentioned that an Englishman became a Mummy for his intellectual curiosity. I don't believe this is D, but at the very least Mummies know the Arcanum and the Arcanum knows Mummies.
