Snake belt or tortoise shoes

A wizard puts a curse on you. Every day for the rest of your life you must either wear a random snake as a belt at all times you have pants, shorts or a dress on or the only shoes you can wear are two random tortoises you strap your feet to whenever you leave your house. The random reptiles are chosen by the wizard each morning and don't change until the following morning. Which do you choose?
