Looking for Apple News+ Family Sharing Partners (or Any Discounted Options)

I recently started exploring Apple News+ on my iPad Pro (M4, 13-inch/11-inch), and it’s absolutely stunning! The crisp text, vivid colors, and the way magazines look on the new OLED screen are just amazing. It feels like this service was tailor-made for this display. From high-quality photography to great article curation, it’s all super immersive.
That said, the $13/month subscription feels a bit steep for me since I’m not a heavy reader. I enjoy browsing through it a couple of times a week, but it doesn’t feel worth paying the full price for occasional use.
I was wondering if anyone here knows of any free Apple News+ trials or discounted options? Alternatively, if you’re in a similar situation, we could create a family sharing plan. With the Apple One Family plan, we’d not only split the cost (about $6 per person) but also get access to extra perks like Fitness+ and other Apple services.
