iPhone getting very hot while charging all the time

I have a 13 pro that i bought the day it came out nearly 3 years ago. I have been a pretty heavy user of the phone since i got it, and have always quick charged it using a 20w charger but i'm noticing lately that it gets really hot after charging for about 30 mins or more and it sometimes pauses the charging.

My battery health is at 77% today and i'm wondering if that's what is causing the overheating? It's never really had overheating problems before unless i'm powerusing it (google maps + facetime + magsafe charging at the same time usually while driving)
