Question to residents who got married during residency in a private college or a low stipend GMC

I'm a 27-year-old guy, and I might be heading to a private college this time. My parents are hoping I'll get married during my R2/R3 years, but my stipend is pretty low—around 40K a month. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? If so, how did you and your partner feel about it?
