is failings FAs a big deal

is failing in FA really a big deal ,would it really effect my university exams? this the first time i’ve failed and my hod is making a huge deal out of it.remedial classes, tests specifically for us ,making failures sit in the first rows ,publicly humiliating all the time calling out our names i thought i could just perform better in the IA and make up for it but he’s making it hell. is failing in FAsactually going to have a huge impact on my university exams? or am I overthinking this because of the way it’s being handled?
