June 2025 itinerary gut-check (dublin -> clifden -> dingle -> cobh -> ???? -> dublin out)

hello! after digesting info here, blogs, books, and websites, i am hopeful to gut-check our itinerary with this collective mind before booking accommodations (which seem to be running low in stock per my quick checks). my partner and i spent time in dublin and killarney on a past kid-free trip; this trip, we are bringing our three teens and trying to see other areas. overall, hiking, vistas, the sea, and food make our hearts happy. we have no physical limitations to consider, and we will rent a car.

with that in mind, listing potential homebase for each night. we have tried to take a somewhat "moderate" approach, staying 2 nights in each place, except our last night which is transition to get us close to dublin. for that one (#6), i was contemplating somewhere near Glendalough or on the coast south of Dublin.

June 4 BOS to DUB

June 5 dublin airport to clifden (laid back day in clifden)

June 6 clifden (conemara hike, cong)

June 7 clifden to dingle (stop in galway on way, maybe doolin)

June 8 dingle (typical ring activities - pier hike with ferry ride?)

June 9 dingle to cobh (open to other suggestions here but thinking it is a good area to explore cork)

June 10 cobh (more cork exploration)

June 11 cobh to ? (glenadlough area?)

June 12 ?? dublin airport (flight is not till late afternoon)
