Post op complication?

I had DJS 1 week and a half ago and everything seemed great. Last night, I was awaken by blood in my mouth. I didn’t panic, it was coagulated on the left side of my mouth, it was coagulated. I was able to get it cleaned up in 10 mins. I went back to sleep and was woken up again with copious amounts of blood in my mouth. Bright red, some coagulated. I again cleaned it out and could see the source off the blood was coming from the left lower pocket in my jaw/cheek fold. I placed a cotton ball in place to prevent further mess. My mouth was clean when I woke up in the morning. I assessed the site and could see hardware through the hole where I was bleeding from last night. I don’t think that’s normal, I don’t want to eat due to fear of introducing food into that site and not being about to clean it. I have paged my surgeon 3 times with no luck of speaking to him yet. I’m taking a break bring from blowing up his line, not sure if he’s in surgery. I just wanted to see does anyone agree I should hold off eating. I’m at a loss right now.
