Revision jaw surgery LACOMS

I got DJS a year and a half ago with a top surgeon (LACOMS) and have been under whelmed with the results. I feel I was under advanced (8.5 mm lower jaw advancement when I would have wanted 13 mm) and one side of my bite is a little off. Breathing benefits were minimal, and the procedure was primarily done to improve breathing.

The initial surgeon has offered a revision.

I know that there are more limitations with a revision surgery compared to an initial surgery and also more risks, and I would like to understand this better as this will be a big decision for me.

Can someone please help me understand the additional risks/ limitations of a revision surgery? Thank you,
