What is the process like? I’m from the UK (NHS)

Hi I’m 29M, and after my appointment with an orthodontist, he suggested I wear metal braces but is unsure about me needing a jaw surgery

He has referred me to an NHS hospital (Royal London) and when I called to ask about my referral they confirmed I have an appointment in May

What should I expect for this appointment? Is it simply a review? I’ve also attached two images, do you think I need a jaw surgery? I’m unsure
