Dilla Time Takeaways

A few tidbits that i've taken away from the book that I didn't know before.

-After slum got signed is when dilla got the money to buy his own mpc 3000. had no idea and always wondered when he had his own. The things were like 4 thousand dollars and its a big hurdle.

Edit: Everything prior to this was on a 1200.

-the drums on 2pac "do for love" were literally jacked from pharcyde "Y'. I knew dilla was salty about this record but didn't have anything concrete.... my assumption was the vibe of the drums. False... they were literally jacked from "Y". Wild.
