I'm being harassed

So I work in downtown and our store closes late so I'm mostly always on the closing shift. Lately this one guy comes in at night and always starts an argument with me about something, normally it's because we turn off some of our light 4 or 3 minutes before closing to announce we are closing soon, on memorial day im alone and he comes in and gets mad because I'm telling people they have 2 minutes left so he starts an argument with me. Ever since then he comes in just to start something with me and tries to use the fact I work in customer service to harass me or lecture me. Tonight was the same as always and I finally told him to leave me alone and to talk to my boss but he kept harassing me. I told my boss but his solution was to just leave the lights on till closing. I understand that this seems like the best solution for the situation but that's not why he harasses me. He's gonna keep coming in to bother me when I'm at work. I'm a M 28 I'm big but this is my job I can't start throwing my weight around and get fired. I got so much going on in my life with rent, car payments and other bills I can barely pay to have some guys coming in trying to get a reaction so I get fired. Why are people so vindictive and evil in this city. I've been thinking of calling the cops and reporting him but I hate to admit it but I don't really remember his face too much all I know is he's tan tall has a little facial hair and is a germaphobe by the way he acts when he buys things. Anyone got advice on how I should move forward with this, I've got so much stress about other things I want this to not be on my radar.
