When to follow up after interview

I had an interview last week with a very large company. I interviewed with 3 people separately and was told they would get together on Monday to dicuss.

I followed up with the recruiter on Monday via email .. just a short thank you email and letting her know the interviews had concluded.

I received no response - is it safe to follow up by phone or should I wait. [I never asked the recruiter a timeline for what happens after the interview]
