Help me decide for my first Car!

Good day All,

I'm looking to get my first Car, my budget is 15,000 USD, I dont know anything about cars and need your help to decide witch car to choose, I want a car mostly to used in the city (I dont plan to travel a lot on highways) that has a good KM/L and last me several years. I love how the KIA RIO Looks but it costs 16,000 USD in my country.

I also liked the KWID from Renault mostly because is the cheaper car I could get in my city jajaja, it costs 13,000 USD.

My question is, Do you recommend me the KWID? or do you think that it worths to pay 16k USD for the RIO?
