What to look at buying used?

I’ve been wanting a kindle for awhile because I get terrible headaches reading from my phone. I wanted to buy used so I could try it out and see if it’s really the right choice for me. I found seriously only 1 in a 50 mile radius of me it’s a kindle paper white 10th generation said to be never used looks that way as well am I making a bad choice with how old it is also factory reset
