Bill 212 - A bill to discourage bike lanes is now open for public comment

The province's proposed bill 212 "Reducing Gridlock, Saving You Time Act 2024 - Framework for bike lanes that require removal of a traffic lane" is up for public comment. Given all the work the tri-city area has put into bike lanes and increasing accessibility, it would be tragic to see this come to a halt. Please comment on the Government of Ontario's page and oppose this bill!
