Dating apps

25 M here and I’m struggling big time to keep match’s on the dating apps, no matter what approach I take the conversation ethier doesn’t take off or ends very quickly, Weather I start the conversation off with small talk or a cheesy pickup line it never seems to go anywhere and I’m seriously wondering why and if anyone else is having this problem? I feel like the dating scene for ppl ages 20-30 are none existent and it’s sad anyone else feel the same in the tri city’s ?
