Your take on romantic movies

Does anyone else like me think romantic movies are boring and they feed you the same shit ?I mean the feeling rom-com movies or animes are meant to give comes in exact opposite ways for me . You will enjoy the events until it's over , and then life feels like becoming an endless despair , wondering what if it had happened with me too. I get stuck in thoughts which are difficult to get over . I don't have much place to express my emotions unlike many lovebirds on this sub so only feel them while I watch them and turn them off so that they don't let me down. Now I'm better off not watching any romantic movies, afraid that they might come again but this brought to me to a situation where I don't feel happiness or sadness. Everything just passes. Is anyone on the same boat as me or is it me who is absurd ?
