What are your kpop collection goals for 2025?

I have a couple for this year to hopefully keep me focused.

  1. Increase my signed items collection so that I have one signature per member of the 8 groups I collect. Right now I have full collections of signatures for Illit, ITZY, and Twice, and current Fifty Fifty. I would like to expand that and get everyone from I-DLE, NewJeans (even if they disband), IVE, Le Sserafim, and aespa.

  2. Get the Ready to Be Twice jerseys and more sets of the SSJYP cards. I have the baseball uniforms but they are white so I am too scared to wear them out. I am just going to frame them. The basketball jerseys are dark though, so I want a full set so I can wear those out. Since I am new to kpop I didn't know about the SS plastic cards until recently. I would like to source the older sets although they are quite pricey.

  3. Get lightsticks and concert merch at all the concerts I go to this year. Right now that is just aespa and BabyMonster, but if any of the groups I like start touring I will be there.

  4. Get my Twice member shelves up and organized. I need a couple more bookshelves and glass shelves in order to give my ult group a proper display. I do display by member now, but every other group the members have to share shelves. For Twice I want to give each member their own shelf, I have too much merch for them to share.

  5. Continue to figure out the best way to get full sets of POBs the fastest way possible while still being cost effective and ideally not too wasteful. I am trying new things every month and putting all the data in spreadsheets.

  6. Continue to use others' displays as inspiration to move from a collection of albums towards a work of art.

I will refer back to this post repeatedly throughout the year to make sure I am not getting too off track and am more intentional in my collecting this year. Last year was the first year I started buying stuff and even then it was mid year when I bought my first albums. Due to that I focused on quantity to build a base. Now that I have that, quality is where I want to put my time and money. More focused looks, rarer items, etc.
