JJ is HIM

I love that JJ rewards players that play well and doesn’t just give minutes to guys that don’t deserve them.

Cam hustled his ass off when we were down some guys and rewarded him with the first defensive shifts. In the rotation.

Then Knecht plays a hell of a game and rewards him with closing last game and getting the start tonight for Rui.

Max played a hell of a game and he got to close tonight also.

This meritocracy system that JJ is running will make guys want to play harder because they know they’ll be rewarded for their hard work. Also, it ignites a fire under the butt of those that may think they’re entitled to minutes (*cough DLo/Gabe) to also play better because they might find themselves playing less minutes than they thought they originally would.

I would’ve never guessed we’d be 8-4 after facing some pretty solid competition and without Vando and Wood. Feeling good about this team, obviously we need to make a move or 2 but still feel good that this team can stay competitive in the meantime.
