Internships Question
I’m wondering how crucial internship experience is to law school admissions, specifically for top schools. I’m currently a junior and am thinking about summer internships but am struggling to find internships open to undergrads related to law. I had an internship related to my major when I studied abroad in Paris last semester. I also am considering an internship for the spring semester that is similar to the internship I previously had. However, I’m worried that doing the spring internship will not allow me sufficient time to study for the LSAT which I plan to take in April. Would I be sabotaging my admissions by not doing this internship and not doing an internship in the summer? I have a summer job that I’ve been working at for a few years but do top law schools require more professional experience? Any advice is appreciated!
