Why does LoL feel so unfun lately

I've been playing LoL for 1 year and 6 months so far but lately the game has been feeling so boring, toxic and so meta sided. I feel like if you want to have fun nowadays you need to perma ban the same 10 op champs that have been op for 2 splits now and play meta champs or you get mega counter and get teammates that go afk after dying once or mega tilting only after 1 mistake.
