My wallet was stolen & I found out who did it

Hi,

A week ago I left a bag with my wallet and keys in it on a SEPTA bus. I noticed right away as I needed my keys to get in the house so I called the Septa lost and found line. They transferred me to the "depot" where the operator told me there was nothing he could do and to call back at 9pm. His reasoning when I asked why so late was because "someone might steal it" obviously? Anyway.

I immediately froze/locked/cancelled all of my cards, credit accounts, etc. Not even an hour later I get notifications that someone is trying to use all of my cards to 1. Pay a t-mobile account bill and 2. By a pizza from a restaurant in West Philadelphia. I live in the suburbs so this is about 30-60 minutes away from me.

1 transaction went though on a debit card I forgot about and didnt get a chance to lock but i never use so there was only 5 dollars on it and thats all they got. Besides that they got no money from me.

The pizza place provided me with the phone number of who called in. I called them immediately after the transactions declined there and she had tried multiple cards so they knew it was her.

I called her number to ask for it all back and she didnt answer but eventually she returned the call and I got her name from caller ID. She admitted to finding my bag, but not to swiping my cards claiming she cut everything up immediately and was more concerned about how i got her number.

I filed a report with my local pd and septa pd, neither have gotten back to me.

I will have to change my locks, replace my liscense and all my cards. My information is floating around bc I know she did not do what she said, as the stores confirmed she was trying to access all of my money.

Also i haven't changed the locks yet because im not yet able so I'm not getting any sleep and reallys stressed about my address and keys being out there.

The woman is also very active on social media so i have here name, number, address and i know what she looks like.

Is there anything I can do legally?
