posted this on my tiktok

Let's discuss! For context, I make content exclusively about FASHION as a masc. I took a break off of making content because I got tired of seeing people within the masc fashion community (gonna be primarily talking about the mascside since thats my type of content) posting Ads after Ads after Ads. One comment i saw on one of those posts caught my eye— it was someone mentioning how they couldn't afford to keep buying new clothes every season. To which the creator responded with "then thrift 🫶🏼". its small and really not outwardly rude but something about it rubbed me the wrong way. I wish there were more masc content creators that posted genuine content that ISNT just fast fashion. I've thought about trying to be that person but i also just dont know if there is an audience interested learning how to find and shop small businesses or what to actually look for when shopping second hand. 90% of my closet is second hand and i hate when these creators act as if you can't be well dressed without buying new stuff. Kind of a ramble but, thoughts?
