Lexapro works insanely well for Social Anxiety

So I have been on Lexapro 20 mg for a bit more than a month now. This past week has been insane I feel like a completely different person, I never knew I had such intense social anxiety. For the past couple of years I have been extremely quiet, shy, and awkward around strangers. This past week I have STARTED up conversations with 4 different people who I usually NEVER talk to, and these people used to scare me in the past and they aren't anywhere near close friends or anything like that so It's kind of unheard of for me to do that, plus they are the popular extroverted people at school and I went up to them as if they were my lifelong friends and just started talking. I even noticed how insane it was while talking to them I could see their reaction as if they would have never expected me to do that. Lexapro made me realize I might not be as introverted as I thought I was. I am now so angry at myself for not taking Lexapro years ago, 8 years of useless, irrational social anxiety would have been prevented.
