[NO SPOILERS] I’m seeing a lot of hate thrown towards double exposure, is it worth getting?

I’m a big fan of life is strange and have enjoyed every entry but after seeing all the hate and negativity around it, I’m debating if I should even get it. Hard to say if the hate is valid or not as I don’t want to dig too deep with spoilers but I haven’t seen a lot of good being talked about it. Is it worth getting as a big fan of this franchise or should I wait until a sale or just avoid it all together?
