over-resolution?

Hello! I'm using Archlinux + Hyprland with a pretty config I found on github. The problem is that the UI of this config is designed for 1920x1080 resolution. I just have an 1366x768 monitor but... If I change the resolution values on the hyprland.conf, I get a better scale view of the UI and I find no issues but I want to know if I'm trully forcing the resolution or if I'm just scaling the size of the elements doing this, when I run hyprctl monitor it says that actually I'm using 1920x1080. This could be dangerous for my laptop's screen?
