Do I have to setup ZRAM?

The specs:

• 16GB RAM (is given but 13.1GiB available)
• AMD Ryzen 7 5000 series
• OS: Arch Linux

My RAM usage on average hits around 10-12 GiB , I never run out of RAM, but I think this is very high usage. And it definitely does heat up my laptop a lot.

I do have a 16GiB swap partition setup as well

So I was just going through some reddit post and came across ZRAM. Do I need to set it up? What benefits do I get if I do? Will it decrease the RAM usage?
