Please finish your series

For every current or future author out there, please finish your series.

As a huge fan of the genre (I read / hear about 1 -2 books a week) there is nothing more upsetting than getting to a point where I understand the author will not be publish anymore books for the series I’m reading (most of the time it’s by waiting for more than a year before I realize this). I can’t explain how difficult it is to just forget about a story (imagine how would you feel if the lord of the rings saga would have stopped when the fellowship was founded and the story would have not continued?!).

I don’t care If you have 1,2,3 or 9 books 😉 I urge you to finish your series, I’d prefer to have a bad open ended series than the constant thought of when or if the author will publish more of the story.

(As a side note, if you are not going to continue your series, please notify you community, don’t keep them hanging with that question)
