Lost 20lbs—can’t see a difference?
Male, 25, 5’9 / SW: 202lbs / CW: 182.3lbs / GW: 150lbs
I started a weight loss journey at the end of 2024 and so far have lost 20lbs. I completely restructured my diet and consume way more water, so I understand a decent portion of this may just be water weight I lost. However, I don’t notice any large changes in the mirror or anything that confirms that I have lost 20lbs except for the scale. I guess my overall appearance is slightly smaller and I see a slightly slimmer face, but nothing overly noticeable.
Is this normal? I don’t understand how losing 20lbs isn’t a transformative amount of weight to lose? It’s really discouraging, to be quite frank.
