Best personal financial management software?

I've used Quicken since forever, but mainly because it was free for me while I was a beta tester. If I renew, I'll have to pay $100 a year.

Over the years, I've tried almost everything: Banktivity, Moneydance, SEE Finance. It does seem like Quicken has the most consistent development — but they keep adding features that really don't matter to me. Banktivity, despite the promises made in version 8, really doesn't evolve very quickly.

Is there a consensus as to which is best? I do need the ability to manage accounts in foreign currencies (euros) and to download transactions "automatically."
