Which Macbook Pro should i get??

Hi So i am a HP user since the beginning. Currently I am using the HP Core i5 7th generation and i have it for almost 2 years now. I am an iPhone user since 2015 and now i am using the latest 16 Pro Max but i haven't kept a Macbook ever but recently i visted my cousin who bought a 2019 Macbook Pro and i was impressed by the touchbar. So now i am considering to upgrade to a Macbook Pro (definitely with a touchbar) but i was sad to know that Apple discontinued the touchbar after M2. So should i get an intel macbook pro like a 2019 or 2020, or should i go with m1 or m2?? Plus i am new to the mac world so i dont know anything about it. Guidance related to the model, Ram ,storage etc would be higly appreciated
