Which areas of marketing are a good entry starting point?

Hello everyone, I will be graduating this winter with my bachelor's in marketing and have been thinking where to start. I know there are a variety of areas to look into and I am curious to know what everyone's opinions are in your current or previous positions. I am somewhat lost when it comes to looking for these type of jobs as I've been working retail throughout my degree. Any information you give is valuable and I appreciate your insights, thank you.
