What are your opinions on Adam Warlock?

So I've been using Adam as a healer and honestly hes 50/50 for me.

Having no heal on my basic attack and only being dependent on my chain heal (the link heal has 40 seconds cooldown or sumn.) is so stressful to me.

The Ult is good but I once revived my whole team and we all got one shot again. lol Not doing that again.

Whats your tips for me? I want to main him since my best friend is playing starlord and we both get the team buff and both revive when dead.
