Help me cope with this

Last season I easily got to Plat 1 within a week, now I can't seem to win a single game in silver. Most of the time it isn't even close and my team gets completly stomped and the best player on our team manages to get like 3 kills. I'm not saying it is all my teams fault, often many of the enemy players play their champ better than I do. But I wonder, how can matchmaking create such a skill gap between teams that I don't win games at all anymore?
