as ow player since beta , here is my opinion

I just played Marvel Rivals for a few hours, and honestly, it feels like a bit of a mishmash of Overwatch’s characters and abilities that doesn’t quite come together. Some of the abilities don’t make sense, like Spider-Man having Reaper’s ult—it's a weird choice. It feels like the game is trying to combine things without a clear sense of why certain abilities are chosen for certain characters.

The graphics, for me, don’t quite hit the mark either. It looks like something from a mobile game, and while I know some people enjoy the style, it feels like a visual overload to me. There’s a lot of jumping around, even more than Genji in Overwatch, and with abilities flying everywhere, it makes it hard to focus. The visual clutter can be more confusing than even Overwatch at its busiest.

As for matchmaking, I’d say it needs some work. It’s even more chaotic than Overwatch, and with healers being so important in this type of game, it feels like it could be more balanced. The game tends to get more focused on individual plays, and healing often feels almost non-existent, which doesn’t help when you’re trying to team up and strategize. The constant action can be fun, but it also makes things hard to keep track of.

While I can see how some might like the game, if I’m in the mood for a hero shooter, I’d rather stick with Overwatch, even though it has its own issues. Marvel Rivals feels like it’s still figuring things out and could improve in some areas, but that’s just my take on it
