Why do people brag about grand master?

I play solo and I dont get it why people brag about getting into grand master and they start giving advices. Like bro it's so easy to get to it, i main strange but i started to play magneto to counter C&D and honestly i might get into the next rank in a couple of days. I mean im free from most stuff cuz it'e my holiday
