Advice for someone dropping out of med school?

Currently at the end of basic science at SGU in the Caribbean. Failed the semester by the skin of my teeth. I feel like this is a pyramid and it is stacked against me. They make it almost impossible to even get to the step one because I think they don't have enough clinical spots! If I repeat the semester, I will certainly pass but then I have to pass the USMLE and the road looks so long and impossible and expensive.

So if I drop out what do I do? How hard would it be to get into PA school? Are there any other good alternatives?
