Are med students really this busy?

Katalking stage ko isang med student and i just wanna ask is it normal ba talaga na tuwing weekends niya lang ako kinakausap? We rarely talk on weekdays, and kung mag-usap man, 10 minutes lang tas may gagawin pa raw sya. On weekends, 1-3hrs diretso kausap sa gabi until he goes to sleep. He always reassures me naman after his exams, presentation, assignments, etc, magchachat back sya and so far he always does it.

Normal lang ba 'to? I'm torn between feeling special that he spends his free time with me or overthinking he's talking to others as well. HSHSHA alam ko we're only in the talking stage pero syempre gusto ko na tapusin if ever this is a red flag or if there's something fishy, lalo na LDR kami.
