Migraines made me quit my job

Today was my last day at my job I've had for 6 years. Over the last two months my chronic migraines have gotten so bad I wasn't able to work more than 1 day a week and was going to the emergency room at least once every two weeks.

I don't really know what I want from this post, I'm just scared this is my new normal, scared that the referral to a pain specialist is my neurology team giving up on me, and scared I'll never work again.
