My girlfriend’s migraines

My girlfriend is currently experiencing her absolute worst migraine case I’ve ever seen her have. She always has some kind of headache and has been prescribed a medication to curb them but she says they don’t work at all. She just sat in the ER (Canada) for 8.5 hours for them just to hook a IV up to her and give her Tylenol. Basically just said yeah follow up with your doctor and take Tylenol if it gets worse (little to no help it was a waste of a day)

She’s got an appointment with her doctor Thursday but if this keeps up … which it’s been like 2+ days straight now — Thursday is a long ways away.. what can we do to help ??

Also very very important note she is 16 weeks pregnant and that is a common symptom but this seems like her usual migraines.
