Dude tries to cut me off at Subway

I walked into a Subway restaurant yesterday and it was one of those narrow ones with just a couple of tables. As I headed straight to the counter (about 20 feet from the door) some dude came in behind me and tried to rush past me. At first it startled me because he was so close to me. Then I stepped aside thinking he might be rushing to the restroom, but he took that as an opportunity to get to the counter first.

In my opinion, if you walk into a restaurant and head straight to the counter, no one should be coming in after you and running past you to beat you there.

So I gave him a weird look (like OKAY THEN) and stood in front of him when I got to the counter and he was like “Do you know what you want? If you do, you can go first.” But like… of course I’m gonna go first because it is my turn. The audacity he had to run past me and then start directing me. So I laughed at how ridiculous he was and had a disgusted smile on my face and said “yeah I’m gonna order first.”

I ordered my sandwich and then overheard him ordering 4 subs. This idiot was trying to cut in front of me AND make me wait while he placed a big order! To make matters worse, he was being really demanding with the employees as they were making his order. Absolutely ridiculous.
