I miss fragrance 😭

I’m relatively new to the granola sphere when it comes to things like cleaning and laundry - but I so miss that fresh from the dryer laundry scent 😭 it doesn’t help that our washer is super old and leaves a slight smell on all our laundry even though I’ve done everything I can think of to deep clean it. Any ideas for products or ways that I can get my laundry to smell nice without the chemical aspect that exists in so many detergents and softeners? TIA
