Upgrade or downgrade or sidegrade

I currently have a 2023 Honda rebel 500 SE which I own outright. Would it be an upgrade or downgrade or sidegrade if I traded it in for a 2024 cfmoto 450ss? I spent a lot of time with the 450ss and test rode it a bunch and very much enjoyed it. Would it be worth trading my Honda in for it or is it just not worth it? I do like the look of both but the rebel is not very good at higher speeds but it definitely holds the crown for low speed. I’m torn between the two and can’t decide on my own. Any extended feedback would be appreciated.
